This August, we're raising a glass to Georgia’s most iconic fruit. In celebration of National Peach Month, Distillery of Modern Art is partnering with Pearson Farm to launch a monthlong Peach Party menu featuring seasonal cocktails made with DoMA spirits and Pearson peaches.
Rooted in Fort Valley, Georgia, Pearson Farm has cultivated peaches since 1885. Today, the fifth-generation family farm grows more than 50 peach varieties, handpicking each at the ideal moment for the flavor, fragrance and juiciness that define a peak-season Georgia peach. The collaboration brings that longstanding agricultural tradition together with DoMA’s creative approach to distilling and cocktail making.
“August is when a Georgia peach is nearly impossible to improve upon, but we certainly tried our best with exceptional spirits and expert mixology,” said Russell Gottschalk, DoMA’s Director of Operations and Market Awareness. “Pearson Farm represents generations of care, knowledge and commitment to quality. It is a privilege and joy to work with their quality peaches. DoMA’s Peach Party menu gives us the opportunity to celebrate their fruit at its best and create drinks that taste unmistakably like summer in Georgia.”
Available throughout August in DoMA’s Kandinsky tasting room, the Peach Party menu will incorporate Pearson peaches in house-made syrups, shrubs and garnishes. The collection will range from bright, refreshing drinks to richer whiskey-forward creations, demonstrating the fruit’s remarkable versatility behind the bar.
