Negroni Week was a whirlwind of creativity and delicious cocktails, and Distillery of Modern Art (DoMA) was thrilled to be a part of it. Featuring DoMA’s Gin of the Year, six local restaurants and blogs put a unique and delightful spin on the classic Negroni.
From the bustling crowds at Okay Anny’s to the familiar atmosphere of Manuel’s Tavern, each venue brought their own flair to the Negroni. Bottle Rock, Westside Motor Lounge, and Postinao Pizza Bar also showcased their innovative takes on this timeless cocktail.
Our London Dry Style, Gin of the Year proved to be the perfect base for these flavorful creations, adding a touch of complexity and sophistication to each drink. Whether you preferred a classic Negroni or a more adventurous twist, there was something for everyone to enjoy during Negroni Week. Here are the recipes for each cocktail and more information:
Westside Motor Lounge: The Sparkling Negroni

- 1 oz Nouveau Gin
- 1 oz Compari
- 1 oz Cocchi Storico
- Mix and strain into a glass over ice
- Top with soda
Manuel’s Tavern: The Classic
Bartender Matt
- 1.5 oz Nouveau Gin
- 1.5 oz Compari
- 1.5 oz Carpano Antica
- Stir and strain over ice
Okay Anny’s: PB&J Negroni
Bartender Mara
- 1 oz White Bread and Peanut butter fat Washed and Infused Nouveau Gin
- 1 oz Strawberry Infused Campari
- 1 oz Brovo Jammy Sweet Vermouth
- Combine and stir with Ice
- Strain over Ice
- Express Orange peel
- Garnish with Toasted white bread
Positano: Negroni Sour
- 1 egg white
- 1.5 oz DoMA Gin
- 1 oz Compari
- 1 oz Dolin Rouge
Bottle Rock: The Strawberry Negroni
Bartender Kia
- 1.25oz chamomile tea infused DoMA Gin
- .75oz strawberry infused Campari
- .75oz Cocchi di Torino
- 2 dashes Fee Bros. Rhubarb bitters
- Rice wash. Strain the rice off
- Stir with ice and serve over a large cube
- Express and discard a lemon peel
