Fall 2025 DoMA Guest Bartenders

September 2, 2025by Russell Gottschalk

In Spring 2025, Distillery of Modern Art (DoMA) launched a guest bartender/mixologist series. Specifically, the program celebrated three years of serving artistic, craft cocktails in Chamblee, Georgia! We wanted to:

  • Connect with talented industry professionals to teach them about our spirit making process and positively influence our bar program with innovative ideas
  • Introduce DoMA spirits to a diverse range of leadership representing restaurants, bars and influential communities both in Atlanta and beyond
  • Have fun! We’re sipping and sharing, what’s not to love?!?

After an incredible start to our guest bartender/mixologist program, we’re thrilled to announce our Fall featured leaders in the spirits industry:
Courtney Marshall holds drink at DoMA bar

Courtney Marshall in September

Founder of Spirit and Soul

Courtney Marshall is the founder and creative director of Spirit and Soul Mobile Bar Co., an award-winning luxury mobile bar experience. In particular, it specializes in private events, cocktail classes, pop-ups, and beverage consulting. For Courtney, cocktails are more than just drinks. Instead, they are a means to create unique experiences and curate spaces for connection and community. Courtney is also the creator and host of the Spirit and Soul Podcast, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of hospitality professionals.

$1 per Courtney created cocktail sold will be directed to G5 Gives Back. G5 Gives Back empowers families in our community facing temporary hardship through direct support and opportunities. Join Courtney on Saturday, September 20 (6:00-8:00 PM) to enjoy her cocktails and take in the new art exhibit, “Distilled Impressions – A Visual Pour.”

Husk is one of DoMA’s first accounts in Nashville, our first market outside of Georgia! Adam has been serving there for more than a decade. As a result, he has become a seasoned bar manager who curates an inventive cocktail program. Adam’s delightful bar program is rooted in Southern, seasonal ingredients and rotating single-barrel whiskey selections.

Beverage Manager at Politan Row

Mara Mullen is the Beverage Manager at Politan Row on Ashford Lane in Dunwoody. There, she leads the bar programs across multiple venues including Bar Politan, Okay Anny’s, and the energetic sports-themed bar Streakers. Her creative approach has helped transform the space into a vibrant late-night scene. Furthermore, she mixes classic cocktails with bold, playful themes that reflect her dynamic leadership.

Each guest bartender/mixologist at DoMA can choose a charity to direct $1 per cocktail sold. To date, DoMA has contributed over $500 to worthy causes. Notably, the majority of these donations have been directed to Atlanta-based Giving Kitchen. The Giving Kitchen is dedicated to providing emergency assistance to food service workers. Specifically, the nonprofit offers financial support and access to a network of community assistance.
