In this modern calligraphy workshop, you’ll learn the basic process of building letters in modern styles with guides, worksheets, and instruction. You’ll also receive a beginner kit of calligraphy materials including a pen holder, nibs, ink, and of course, paper. No prior calligraphy experience is necessary. We’ll be covering how to use the materials as well as how to build letters, write words, and layout a final piece of calligraphy.

TICKET INCLUDES: 90-minutes of instruction, building letters worksheet, guidelines worksheet, beginner kid (straight holder, starter nibs, 1 pot of ink) and a DoMA cocktail or NA.

In this 2-hour course, you’ll learn how to use a hand drill to engrave on glass. We’ll cover the basics of how to use the tool, techniques for applying the design onto glass, using different size burrs (tips), and adjusting the pressure and speed of the engraver to achieve the result you desire. 

NOTE: Supplies are not included in this class however an engraver will be provided for class use and an option to purchase the tool after class. Glass sheets and other varied materials like bottles and glassware will be available for students to use during and at the end of class. Worksheets are also included.
