Join our friends at Pottery with a Purpose for an inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class! Sip on a cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage, included in the ticket price, and learn to sculpt your very own, personalized pottery piece. First, our expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you’ll learn to hand build a pinch pot. Then, you’ll learn how to sculpt and decorate your pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planters, candle holders, smiley planter pals, and more.

Ticket includes a drink plus Pottery with a Purpose’s signature ‘Beginner Pottery Kit’ which includes everything you need to make your pottery during and after class.

In this 2-hour course, you’ll learn how to use a hand drill to engrave on glass. We’ll cover the basics of how to use the tool, techniques for applying the design onto glass, using different size burrs (tips), and adjusting the pressure and speed of the engraver to achieve the result you desire. You’ll have an opportunity to engrave on a flat piece of glass and round and curved objects.

Calligraphy experience is not necessary to take this class. We’ll use lettering examples and basic drawings to learn how to use the engraver. Supplies are not included in this class.

An engraver will be provided for class use and an option to purchase the tool after class. Glass sheets and other varied materials like bottles and glassware will be available for students to use during and at the end of class. Worksheets are also included.

Complete a Bob Ross painting in just one class…even if you have never painted before! That’s the magic of the techniques used by Bob Ross in his popular TV series, the Joy of Painting®.  Bob Ross Certified Instructor Jeremy Rogers walks you through step by step how to paint a stunning Bob Ross landscape, complete with “happy trees.”  No prior painting experience needed.

This is a light-hearted painting class totally focused on creating beauty and having fun! Only Bob Ross supplies are used to give you an authentic experience. $80 includes all painting supplies needed plus a DoMA cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.

***Please bring a roll of paper towels, a small package of baby wipes, and a cardboard box to carry your piece of art home with you—the paint will still be wet! The box needs to be big enough to hold a 12”x16” canvas.

Natalie Leach comes to DoMA with over 20 years of yoga teaching experience in Atlanta having taught students of all ages and levels of experience. Yoga Classes at DoMA will focus on blending functional movement, with the asana you know and love. Natalie’s classes will inspire you to get curious about the way you move both on and off the mat. Her teaching style is approachable and light-hearted and her creative sequencing will both challenge and refresh students.
