Gorgeous Cocktails to get in the Springtime Mood

March 25, 2020by Rachel Jimenez

Springtime has arrived and while this year may feel a bit different, with social distancing and self-quarantining, you can still get in the spring spirit by mixing up some fruity, floral, crisp and clean cocktails. Try out these five fresh cocktails at home and get some spring in a glass.

 Lemonberry Martini

Pour 2 ounces of cranberry juice, 1 oz elderflower liqueur, and 1 oz Distillery of Modern Art vodka into a cocktail shaker with ice. Juice one lemon and add 1 ounce of lemon juice into the shaker. Shake and pour into a martini glass.

 Bourbini

Shake 1 oz. Distillery of Modern Art bourbon, 2 dashes peach bitters, .5 oz. Mathilde Peche peach liqueur, with ice, strain into flute, top with sparkling wine, and garnish with mint sprig.

 Bee’s Knees

In a cocktail shaker, combine Distillery of Modern Art gin, lemonade and honey-thyme gastrique. Add ice and shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker is frosted. Strain over a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a thyme sprig.

Sweet Georgia Peach

Fill glass with crushed ice. Combine Distillery of Modern Art whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into glass. Top with a splash of seltzer water and garnish with peach slices.

Lavender Gin & Tonic

Fill a large glass with ice and about 1.5 oz. of Distillery of Modern Art gin. Add some infusion of Lavender tea and about 6 oz. of tonic water. Garnish with a sprig of lavender.
